Getting Started with Biteby: A Quick Guide for Owners

Biteby is a QR code-supported ordering system designed to streamline the ordering process for restaurants, bars, festivals, and other venues, helping customers avoid long queues and get service faster. Here’s a quick guide on how to get up and running with Biteby:


1. Register on Biteby’s Signup Page

If you haven't already, start by signing up on Biteby’s website. Create an account and fill out your profile with details about your business, so customers know who they’re ordering from.


2. Set Up Your Establishment or Venue

Once registered, the next step is to add your first establishment or venue on Biteby. This setup allows you to access the Biteby Dash platform, where you can manage essential aspects of your venue’s ordering system. By adding your establishment details—like its name, and description—you create a branded digital presence that’s accessible to your customers. Through Biteby Dash, you can customize your venue settings, control how menus appear to users, and monitor incoming orders in real time, making it easy to oversee and adjust operations as needed.

Setting up your venue also enables you to:

  • Track orders and order status across all tables.

  • Assign tables.

  • Set up your menu by adding each item along with its localized names, images, and prices.

This foundation lets you tailor the Biteby experience specifically to your establishment’s needs, ensuring a smooth, efficient ordering experience for both your staff and customers.


3. Create Your First Menu

With your venue set up, the next step is creating a menu. Customize it with categories, item descriptions, and prices. Each table will have a unique QR code that customers can scan to order directly from their phones to access the menu.

Set up your menu by adding each item along with its localized names, images, and prices. Tailor item descriptions for different languages, ensuring your menu is accessible to a diverse audience. Including appealing images and clear pricing will make it easier for customers to browse and select items, creating a seamless ordering experience.


4. Set Up Billing Information for Payouts

To start receiving payments, fill out your billing information. You can also add a Barion email address, which allows you to receive payments instantly instead of relying on bank transfers. We support a range of currencies at the moment, including USD, EUR, HUF and CZK!
